Workplace Violence and Harassment - Essential Training for Supervisors (Canada)
This course is for front-line supervisors with responsibility for recognizing violence and harassment in the workplace.
Commodore Solutions (with Corridor) offers a full suite of training on preventing, preparing, identifying and responding to violence in the workplace. Certain industries, including health care, education, transit, and even government, are more prone to violence than others. Employers also face financial costs for absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover and lower productivity related to the stress and mental health outcomes of harassment at work.
But make no mistake: Workplace violence can happen anywhere.
Employers in Canada have an obligation to comply with federal and provincial legislation and training requirements regarding workplace violence, bullying and harassment. Corridor’s Workplace Violence and Harassment training helps to raise awareness and educate your employees on their rights and responsibilities in this area. Our training ensures your employees know how to respond, obtain assistance and report cases of workplace violence and harassment, including domestic violence. This is a critical step in reducing the incidents of workplace violence. Providing proactive workplace violence training supports a safe and respectful work environment while minimizing the risk of violent incidents from occurring.
